  I had a serious problem with my back that had me off work for 5 weeks. NHS didn't even bother to lift my shirt, twice, whilst booking me off for two weeks at a time. After my first two week stint following NHS advice, and being booked off for another two weeks, my wife suggested I try this place. I wasn't quite sure that Ashford Back & Wellness Centre knew what they were doing after my first visit, but when Simon (my chiropractor) showed me what was causing my problem from a photo he had taken on my first visit, it all became clear. Being off work is expensive, but not as expensive as being off work and not doing anything to remedy the situation. The NHS solution would not have fixed my problem - if you don't believe me, I can send a copy of the exercises they gave me. Simon explained expertly why I was having the problems I was having, and it was (seemingly) totally unrelated to the symptoms, something the NHS had totally neglected to inform me of. We set about addressing the root of my problem (BTW - I work two jobs, one as a manufacturer, and the other as web designer, and computer fundi. Both of my occupations contributed to my problems. Simon addressed the root of my problem, and told me how to fix it. It's not cheap, but then your health is never cheap. It's cheaper than being out of work. ;) I don't regret one penny I have spent, because I am much more aware of the things I need to do to ensure I never end up in the position of not being able to work for 5 weeks due to back problems. If you think the NHS is going to fix you, think again. ;)
